January 1, 2023 - ABC has ordered a new procedural drama series based on Karin Slaughter's New York Times bestselling Will Trent series. The series will follow the titular character, Will Trent, a Special Agent with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) who is haunted by a difficult childhood and is determined to use his unique insights to solve the toughest crimes.

"We are so excited to bring the beloved Will Trent character to television," said Karey Burke, president of ABC Entertainment. "Karin Slaughter's novels have captivated millions of readers, and we believe that this series will be just as addictive and suspenseful."
